About me

I am a PhD candidate in Health Policy and Management at UNC Chapel Hill, and an AHRQ National Research Service Award pre-doctoral fellow at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research at UNC. My areas of focus are health and labor economics. I am interested broadly in provider and organizational decision-making and performance, particularly as it relates to optimizing care delivery in response to changes in organization and market conditions.

Prior to starting my PhD, I worked at the RAND Corporation where I conducted health services and policy research. Before RAND I evaluated clinical programs at UPMC Health Plan.
